A cake I’m rather proud of – the Noah’s Ark design was inspired by the invitation we received for Theo’s friend’s first birthday party. The ark, rainbow, and animals are made of gumpaste and fondant. A new recipe again, this carrot cake contains no refined sugar, just local honey from my parents’ hives. The frosting is cream cheese buttercream.
A pink champagne cake, filled with white chocolate cream cheese buttercream and a homemade raspberry conserve. Between the cake layers and the French buttercream icing, this uses a whole bottle of champagne!
