Brush Embroidered Delft Blue and White Chicken Cake

    Here is baby shower cake for Jenn, anticipating the happy arrival of her son.  In blog world, Jenn goes by the nom-de-blog of Blue Henn.  Her blog picture – an embroidered blue hen – served as my inspiration for the brush embroidery decorations and the gumpaste chicken topper.  The cake was carrot cake with cream cheese icing under the homemade fondant.
